Hello, my name is Austin Phiakeo. I am currently a IT Support and Web/Desktop App dev based in California.
I graduated from the University of California, San Diego majoring in Bachelor of Arts - Communications with a focus in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia.
In addition to being skilled in development; I am also skilled in Information Technology Services, Computer Networking, Sales, Public Speaking, Management, and Leadership.
I have focused the majority of my programming experience working on freelancing projects for clients. Examples of work range from website(s) to desktop software.

The business is currently still operating and providing freelancing services to current and future clients.

UCSD - ITS | IT Support Specialist
Working alongside IT project supervisors to ensure IT tasks are completed successfully and efficiently. Communicated with clients; troubleshooting and discussing occurring problems with technology. Utilized ticketing platform ServiceNow to manage incoming inquiries for assistance.
Examples of IT projects are managing servers, troubleshooting and fixing computer systems, and communicated with clients to troubleshoot and find a solution to any problems they may be encountering.

UCSD - ITS | Full Stack Developer
Working on a Windows Platform Environment, using C#/ASP.NET to develop full-stack web applications for clients. Ranging from REST APIs, Attendance Trackers, to Database Management Applications.
Additionally, working to maintain, upgrade, fix, and create web applications for clients. Work consists of but not limited to attending team meetings to discuss current and upcoming projects, working with other team members to complete web applications, and working to complete projects with short-notice deadlines.

Audition Galaxy | Admin and Lead Developer
Audition Galaxy Online is a game developed by a development group and is influenced by the original game of Audition Online. Lead of development team which coded the game from scratch. The game client is coded using C++ and C# while the back-end of the game is coded in Java.
I take part in deciding how the game will continue to progress and making executive decisions with the other administrators. Being a part of the development team also means I take part in the software engineering side of things as well. Whether it be the development of the back-end (server) or front-end (client), I am a part of the team that is responsible for the software development of the game.

ACE YouTube Downloader
The objective of ACE. YouTube Downloader was to provide an alternative solution to current available YouTube Downloaders.
I utilized web APIs to receive the user's input of YouTube URL and then processed the URL accordingly and ending with downloading the requested YouTube video.
